Jasper is the inspiration behind GermanShepherd-Pet.com.
He is a male German Shepherd who has been my companion, teacher, and best friend for more than four years.
Like many German Shepherds, Jasper is intelligent, loyal, alert, and full of personality. Living with him has taught me valuable lessons about dog ownership, nutrition, behavior, exercise, training, and the special bond that exists between dogs and their humans.
This website began because of the questions I encountered while raising Jasper. From choosing the right foods and understanding dog behavior to learning about health, grooming, and daily care, I wanted a place where fellow dog owners could find helpful information based on research and real-world experience.
